Get amazing rest on three new luxury pillow-top king-sized beds with premium pillows and linens. The fourth bedroom has two comfortable bunk beds with full-sized bottoms and twin tops, perfectly fine for adults too. The game room has a brand new pull-out sleeper sofa, so you can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests total. White noise machines and blackout shades are in every bedroom, and three spacious bathrooms keep everyone comfortable without the morning rush. The living room has a gas fireplace and gorgeous mountain views from an oversized sofa with a double-wide chaise. The kitchen is fully stocked for hosting, cooking, and baking — cookie sheets, cutting boards, serving dishes, sharp knives, a stand mixer, blender, toaster oven, and an ice maker. A big gas grill sits on the deck when you are ready to cook outside. The game room has a new arcade machine, shuffleboard, ping pong, and an acoustic guitar. There is also a bar with glasses, cocktail tools, and all the supplies you need. Five smart TVs cover every room with all streaming services and lightning fast WiFi. A new washer and dryer are in the basement. We are parents ourselves, so this home is genuinely kid and baby friendly. We have included toys, books, a pack-n-play, noise makers, booster seats, a baby gate, and kid plates, cups, and cutlery. We also welcome pets. We charge a one-time pet fee that is added automatically when you declare your pet on the reservation. To keep things comfortable for guests with allergies, we ask that pets stay off the upper floors.

What is there to do here? Stargazing on this property is something else. Sit by the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs, make s'mores, and watch shooting stars go by. We have provided a quality telescope with several lenses and decorated the home with a touch of space and exploration to go with it. It is wholesome fun for kids and adults alike. The massive decks have the hot tub, a fire table, a hammock, a hanging chair, and plenty of group seating. Sunsets from up here over Slickrock, Rocky Knob, and High Peak are the kind you remember. Burnsville is ten minutes away and one of the most charming small towns in the region. It has a brewery, great restaurants, boutiques, vintage shops, ice cream, a toy store, and an adorable town square with a weekly farmer's market. Do not miss Appalachian Java for your morning coffee. Cane River Park is two miles away with walking trails, a playground, and river access for splashing, fishing, tubing, and kayaking. Burnsville Canoe and Kayak is close by. Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway toward the Smoky Mountains, or take the scenic Quilt Trail through Madison County. Tannery Knobs Mountain Bike Park is nearby for serious riders. Mt. Mitchell State Park, the tallest mountain east of the Mississippi, is about an hour away. Wolf Ridge Ski Resort is also about an hour out. Nearby towns worth visiting include Black Mountain, Montreat, Weaverville, and Mars Hill. Asheville is thirty minutes down the highway and one of the most beloved mountain cities in the country. The home is cleaned thoroughly between every stay, including all surfaces, door knobs, and high-touch areas. No smoking inside. Pets must be declared at booking. Quiet hours after 10 PM. Please shower before using the hot tub.

The entire cabin is yours. Every bedroom, every bathroom, the hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, game room, decks, and all parking. There is room for five or more vehicles in the large driveway. Check-in is simple with a keypad at the front door. No keys, no waiting around. Your personal door code will be sent 24 hours before you arrive. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. The property sits on a private and secluded stretch of mountain. The closest neighbors are friendly and welcoming. You can walk up or down the mountain for peaceful pastoral scenery, stargazing, or hiking right from the property. One thing worth knowing: the access road is a steep gravel road. It is part of the mountain experience and completely manageable, but low-clearance vehicles may find it difficult. In winter or wet weather, four-wheel drive is a good idea.
